COSMETIC & PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP) INJECTORS
Plated Rich Plasma (PRP) is a concentration of human platelets in a small volume of plasma. The concentration of plasma has seven fundamental protein growth factors. These factors initiate wound healing, regenerates’ new tissue, improve blood supply, and stimulates collagen and elastin production.
PRP can also improve tissue remodeling resulting in a natural appearance and a healthy glow. PRP in conjunction with CIT (skin needling) can be done together to achieve optimum results for scar management.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Our clinic uses a sterile process similar to a blood test to take a predetermined quantity of blood. PRP then goes sophisticated system that separates the red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma, and platelets into isolated compartments, which allows clinicians to develop unique formulas designed to target specific conditions.
The PRP is then injected into the area needing repair, regeneration, and rejuvenation. Accuvein, a blood vessel scanning device is also used to minimise the risk of bruising and swelling. To make the treatment comfortable and pain-free Local plus Tropical anesthetic is also used.
WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?
- Alopecia and thinning hair in men and women

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL YOU NEED?
We recommend treatment be administered over the course of three-monthly visits. We also suggest patients undergo maintenance visits two to three times a year following the initial procedure.
RESULTS ARE LONG LASTING
Our clinics have seen astounding results in our patients after as little as one PRP treatment, as the treatment organically stimulates the treated areas, it takes approximately 3-6 months for maximum collagen regeneration to occur. With results lasting 12 to 18 months after the course of 3 to 6 treatments. However, most clients report an improvement in overall skin tone and texture within the first month following treatment.
For the best results, we recommend a series of 3-6 treatments, performed every 6-8 weeks. Amplify the results and combine them with CIT Skin Needling. CIT will encourage skin resurfacing and cell turnover while PRP stimulates skin recovery and the production of new collagen and elastin. Combine the two together will result in minimal downtown and a much more effective result.

PRP HAIR LOSS
PRP therapy is a relatively new presence in hair loss options. The PRP scalp injection stimulates hair follicles and supports natural hair growth, boosting hair volume and length. Combined with other hair loss treatments, it has become a popular hair regrowth cosmetic treatment especially for patients with androgenic alopecia, which causes hair follicles to shrink. This condition is very common for men and is called male pattern baldness. [paragraph break] Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy has been in use since the 1980s and been used for treating muscle, ligament, and tendon injuries. Now it is mostly applied for skin rejuvenation, filling fine lines and acne scarring, stimulating hair follicles, and hair regrowth, and also in other cosmetic treatments. Celebrity endorsement in the 2010s led to increased popularity of the 'Vampire Facial', which involves PRP injections and micro-needling.
IS PRP HAIR LOSS EFFECTIVE?
Hair regrowth and fighting with alopecia can be supported by a variety of cosmetic treatments. However, doctors may suggest PRP therapy and invite patients for the initial consultation. But to understand how PRP injections work, it is crucial to explain the role of platelets in hair growth and healing. Platelets and white and red blood cells are components of blood. When there is a wound, platelets are the “first aid” that tries to stop bleeding and heal the injury. Research suggests that extracted and concentrated platelets could be injected into damaged areas of the body and help with the process of healing.
PRP injections are administered by medical professionals that can extract the platelets from a blood sample and prepare PRP injection that will be infused into the hair follicle. It contains a collection of proteins and growth factors that boost tissue reconstruction. Given recent successes, PRP has come to be known as a promising therapy for restoring hair follicles.
